This guide will give you everything you need to know before booking your session with Rayla Hale Photography!

Booking Process

Here are the steps to book!

  1. Choose your date and pay the retainer of $125 which includes goodies like session prep, access to the client closet, styling + wardrobe assistance.

  2. Choose your package!

  3. Session prep! I’ll walk you through all the steps to ensure you’re fully prepared for your session, including access to the client closet + Styling assistance.

The Session Fee

$125

The session fee is due at the time of booking your session, go towards your package, and it includes the following:

  • secures your date

  • Professional Posing & Prompt Instruction

  • Access to our Client Closet

  • Up to 3 Outfit Changes

  • Styling + Wardrobe Guide

  • Professional Photo Editing

  • Online VIEWING Gallery + print release

Session Prep

Once you pay the retainer and pick your package, we’ll start prepping for your session. I am here to help in any way I can! You will receive a styling + wardrobe guide as well as our client closet guide. We would love to continuously add to our client closet and are always looking for more items! Ask us if you’re interested in seeing what we’re looking for or the dresses available to rent nearby!

Why do we have a client closet?

Wouldn’t it be so nice to leave stress at the door and not worry about what to wear? Having a client closet makes it super easy to know what colors/styles work best for my style + editing, too! On top of the stress of finding outfits, but also financially! Our client closet is included with your session.

You will also receive a session questionnaire so I can get to know you better and make your session as “YOU” as possible! As a lifestyle photographer, I will get you and your family to interact as if i am not there to bring out emotion + Genuinity. You’re going to have fun + make memories while having them captured to remember forever!

Session Day

In studio

If you would like to see the studios available to rent, please let me know and we will send our Studio Guide! When we are shooting indoors, we want ALl the natural light coming from the windows so the middle of the day would be best! Anywhere between 10AM-3pm, depending on the season. If you are wanting an in-home session, I would be more than happy to do a free visit to prepare for your home session!

Outdoors

For outdoor sessions, the most beautiful time to book is GOlden hour! golden Hour is one hour before sunset, depending on location and season. This could be from 4-7pm. Shooting during the golden hour really gives warmth + glow in your images as well as having a beautiful background!

Post Session

You will receive a Proofing gallery to pick your images, add on extras, upgrade to full gallery, or purchase any products! Once you made your final selections, I will finish editing your images and you’ll receive another email with your final gallery.

When should i expect my final gallery?

You will receive your final gallery in 2-4 weeks! if you are needing your images back in a certain time, ask about our current editing time line, try to book ahead, or we offer a rush editing fee of $100.

Prints + Products

Once you receive your gallery, you have print release and can go wherever you would like. I highly recommend purchasing prints + products through your online gallery because we use a high quality printing lab that does not color correct images like places such as Shutterfly, walmart, CVS, etc. Your images will not come out as they are on your gallery.

FAQs

  • I am located in Columbus, Ohio. I’m willing to travel. There are parks and studios to rent all around!

  • The best part!

    We have a Client Closet of dresses for you and your little ones. We are always finding or looking for new outfits to add. Ask about how to receive a discount from your session when you purchase a dress we are looking for!

    We will also provide a wardrobe guide and are here to help style you! I love when clients send me photos or ask for my opinion!

  • You have print release and can print your images wherever you’d like. I do not recommend printing from places like Walgreens, Walmart, Shutterfly, etc. When you receive your gallery you are able to purchase prints from a high quality printing lab that does not color correct images. If you would like to purchase albums or other products, reach out and I will design it with you, and then order them!

  • After your session, you’ll receive a proofing gallery of your images. These will not be completely edited, but I love doing this so that you can see your images shortly after your session! You will pick your favorites, extra images, and any products! Depending on the editing list, you should expect your final gallery 2-4 weeks.
